The 2009 Neston Music Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday the 5th and 6th of September. This annual festival started in 2000 with a small-scale concert to raise money for the restoration of St Thomas' Church, Parkgate. From then it has has become progressively more ambitious, and has raised £8,000 for Claire House Children's Hospice and the Wirral Churches' Ark Project. In a similar format to last year there will be an orchestral concert on the Saturday evening and a concert by Bactiguard Wire Brass on the Sunday.
Proceeds will go to the charities mentioned above.
