The 2008 Neston Music Festival took place on Saturday and Sunday the 30th and 31st of August. This annual festival started in 2000 with a small-scale concert to raise money for the restoration of St Thomas' Church, Parkgate. From then it has has become progressively more ambitious, and has raised over £8000 for Claire House Children's Hospice and the Wirral Churches' Ark Project.

The 2008 festival of concerts by the Festival Orchestra and Bactiguard Wire Brass raised

for each of the charities.
